What's your favorite animation style to do?
I personally like hand drawn pencil animation. It's fun and I like doing it. I also like claymation.
I have no expirience in Flash or CGI so I wouldn't know if I like it or not.
Heck I may like them better if I try them sometime.

Hi Spooze,

I checked out your website, which is remarkable devoid of imagery for an animation studio (even a small one).

You'll attract more interest and support from an image-rich website. People need to see what you're about in order to get behind it. :)

Hey Spooze,
yeah I agree with KG about having a more engaging homepage...but that's off your topic.

Since all I've ever done is Flash, I gotta say that's my favorite, although I used to love taking a school note book and making a little flipbook animation.

I've wanted to learn some 3D, just gotta find the time

Alright, I'll try and add some images. I also took off so much of that "promote my site" junk. It seems so stupid to me now. I'll try and add some images and stuff right after my next project is done :D

Thanks

My present favorites are digital cut-out (using MoHo), 3d, and sand. I just bought am analogic capture board so now I'll start my first stop motion experiences with wire and clay. Wish me luck :)

I've always been partial to cut-out animation, and now I'm getting interesting results from procedural cut-outs.

Good luck Daniel Poeira.
I actually may start experimenting with cut outs (not digital, but with real paper) and I may make a short sooner or later. I've done some clay animation before (see my website, "Lucky Bob"), but I haven't ever bothered to put wire in because my character is fairly easy to animate without.

randomRabbit, what do you mean by procedural cut-outs?

I prefer a combination cutout and vector animation style using After Effects, which yields fast results. If the work takes too long I tend to lose momentum.

BTW, I'm new on this forum, so howdy from TX!

I love watching stop motion but can't really see myself using it. I have only done good, old-fashioned, hand-drawn keyframe animation until now.

I used to do cut out animation, my final student project was based on a short story by one of my favorite writers Gabriel Garcia Marquez, and I made it in a beautiful sillouette cut out style based on Lotte Reininger's work.
My characters weren't as fancy as hers but, I had a lot of fun making and animating mine.
there's something terrifying yet, satisfying about animating under the camera. It's animating without a safety net
