Hi guys! Does anybody know where I can buy online an animation model that's designed for character animation for features? The model can be cartoony like Sully or Mike in Monsters Inc.....or cartoony humanistic, like Mr. Incredible in the incredibles.

Basically I'm looking for a model that has all the deformations and controls of a feature quality model.

Much thanks!

There are lots of models available free for the downloading on sites like highend3d.com

If you insist on paying for a rigged model :D, check out turbosquid.com

turbosquid.com has wonderful models, but... why pay when you can get ones for free?

Well, he did say he wanted to "buy" one, so I tossed it in as an additional resource - more as a joke than anything else.

However...

I look at a lot of demo reels, and one thing that I notice a lot is the same model and rig popping up again and again. It's to be expected, with everyone downloading the same setups and working with them. Buying a rigged model from Turbosquid (or anywhere else, for that matter) would at a minimum make the reel stand out because he hasn't used Hogan, or Packageman, or Max for Maya, or...

Hey DSB much thanks for the suggestions. I did a Keano Reeves type "Whoa" when I saw some of the models they had on Turbo Squid. I'll check out Highend to see if I can similiar freebees and decide from there.

Cheers!
