Nice work Doubt, do u know where he is going to get it tated on?

I've done a couple of tat disings but nothing as graphical as urs. i don't have the patiance and skill for such art. The funny thing is i have never seen my tat desings on people to see how they turned out. Go figure :P

He's getting it on the underside of his forearm, I'll post it when a get a picture.

Yeah, it takes a bit of time and patience a bit of practice (few years)

I'll be posting here every day that I have time now, love the old thread and the idea of the new forum. Like your work. Thanks for the comp. I'm in switzerland so the times that I post might look a little strange.

This is for a practicant, since the project I was working on is done I've gotta finish something for everyones scrapbooks. Which is a rad idea if you're not doing it already. you get tonnes of rad sketches and the memories to go with 'em. So the frog is because the studio I was working for is called S.W.A.M.P and there's frogs all over the place. The dude and the human car he's in are from the short that Eva is working on, in my own style though. I will be coloring this and will probably post that too because it'll take a few hours.

I did this last week, can't post the colored frog cuz the clean up took too long.
color needs a few more hours. This lady was drinking coffee in the train station, Olten Switzerland. She's a little less ugly in real life but where's the fun in drawing things the way they look? The watercolor doesn't look too hot an the net, http://forums.awn.com/images/icons/icon8.gif gotta see what I can do about that...

Doubt

Thanks, here are a couple more of those skateboards..
I did these all with spray paint cans and paint pens for the fine lines.
I think if I had an airbrush I'd be way too tempted to do really detailed stuff.
It would be cool to try though. No clear coat but these spray cans over here are not available in the states/canada as far as I know. Danimation, it would be cool to see a caricature of your kid.

I really don't know anything about cinema 4d or maya dynamics

Thanks.
I'm living in Bern, Switzerland right now. I'm from Canada origionally though.

I went and got my face drilled for 3 and a half hours today. Here are a few sketches from the cafe before my appointment. They're done in a very small booklet with really nice paper. I need to carry this thing around with me more.
ps. it's a good idea to go to the dentist yearly!

Here are a couple more very small sketches and some quick sketches. I've been studying animal movement and anatomy lately so it's nice just to throw something down without thinking too much. I would also like to develop my line a bit more so I'm starting to sketch a bit with a grease pencil.

I'm also not sure if what I have is what people commonly refer to as a grease pencil, it seems a little hard. It's one of those ones where you peel it off instead of sharpening it. anyone know about this?

I'm also wondering what I should be working on the most with my skill level where it is, any ideas?

Hey doubt, I like your observational drawings of nature and such. One thing you might want to try is figure drawing, I think it helps with drawing cartoons also.

Thanks for the replies.
First to Erick. Thanks for the compliment on the observational stuff.
You can check out some of my life drawing on pages 7, or 8 on this thread. The tip is good though, I haven't been to a life drawing session for a while now and you're reminder has gotten me to check out what's available for courses or drop in sessions here in Bern. I think I'd like to take a course in caricature as well(and hopefully start them next week). Thanks.

Kartik, thanks and check your personal messages.

I am a professional animator, and if you would like to see some more of my work you can check out www.doubtanimation.ch (http://www.doubtanimation.ch) and www.doubtart.ch (http://www.doubtart.ch). A lot of the stuff is here in this thread but higher quality.

At the moment I'm working on a short film of my own which I hope to get funded, hence the lack of posts recently. I still pop in to check out What everyones up to in the daily sketch though.
