This is an orchid I worked up a while back, but modified for vector war thing at Flashkit. All done in Flash with the mouse and no transparencies.

Wow Phacker that is really nice. Just when i thought that that's all u can do with flash i see something new. The color chart on the side is really cool too to see what colors u used.

Those of us doing static graphic work have to provide those all the time. And during that competition we were limited to 10 colors/tones. Restrictions tighten things up. Flash can do a lot most folks think it can't.

I like "media flight plan"....it'd be interesting to see how it'd look without the buttery jaundice...

Buttery jaundice? I was working with the clients color scheme. I thought it was rather nice.

i know the feeling, Pat. I get into these runs of kicking my own behind pretty hard over nothing. I've been trying pretty hard, but sometimes I look at what I'm doing and think it'll never amount to anything. Then I see some work like yours and think, "That looks pretty good, and I think I can do that if I keep trying." That is to say, it looks great, and you make it look easy without loosing quality.

Thanks Rupert, if you just keep at it it gets easier. I know from experience. You can see some of my really early work on my site. It's been a struggle, but I learn something new everyday. And with the wonders of the internet you can learn new tricks and shortcuts everyday. I love the internet.

And Gabe no I use the mouse. A nice optical well designed one that fits my hand.

Really impressed with the rightmost figure on Highs & Lows. Especially since it was mouse-drawn.

Actually I could see that guy in my mind from the moment the client wrote his brief, the other guy I had to work on for a while. But the minute I heard highs and lows and that it was a running shoes store, I saw that guy.

Thanks for the compliment Scattered.
