I'm looking for a 2D animator in Austin (preferably). I have a cartoon that I need to bring to life so I need a collaborator. I have the ideas--now I'm just looking for someone to help me put this into motion. I'm really into Tex Avery's work and I'd like to create something that has that same sort of look.

This will be one of those "works you can add to your portfolio" type of projects. I have voice talent and music lined up--an animator is the missing link I'm lookin' for!

Please get in touch with me if you're interested.

Thanks,
Bobby Horton
Austin, TX

Hi Bobby,

In addition to these boards, you should be sure to list your project in The Animation Co-op's online project database. Check the "database" link on our site for submission details. It's a snap, and notification goes out to our mailing list of over 600 Co-op members.

I'd also recommend going to the "chapters" page, and dropping a "howdy" to Evan Cagle, sponsor of The Animation Co-op's local chapter in Austin, TX. Evan himself is working on a great 2D animated short entitled, "Honey", listed in our project database.

Cheers! :-)
