Hi!
If you just want to scan your drawings, Toon Boom still's the programme you want! It works completely different from Flash actually... You just scan your drawings, and then import them in ToonBoom, where you can change their duration, timing, etc. It's a really useful programme!

For all the trash I've talked about Toon Boom lately, I still use the heck out of it and find it suitable for dual purpose animation--my end goal is to make a DVD, but in the meantime I can put stuff on my website. Most of it ain't that hot so far, but not due to software.
If you download the demo and want some guidance or have questions and would like to get semi proficient with it before the demo runs out of time, feel free to email me. I've just been dissapointed with their customer service and a few other things, but haven't really had much trouble with the software.
I've also taken to inking my clean-ups instead of using pencil before scanning and importing, which helps tremendously.
Again feel free to email me about the program-- pretty sure I can help you get a quick start in it.
