Maybe I just can't let go of the old forum but I liked the way the name and avatar was laid out next to the post and not this huge thing on top of each post. The size of the text is a bit of an eye sore in my opinion.

I liked the avatars and info on the side as well. It takes up less room between posts and is easier to read.

The old forum layout was a little more compact and easier to scan but you'll get to used this Ed.

As to size of text in the vbulletin format; it can get outrageous. If people abuse it.

Sure I guess some day I'll get used to the obnoxiously big avatars and overbearing text but until then I'll remember fondly the days of when you can fit more than five messages to a page and the personal information wasn't as big as most messages.

Memories light the corners of my mind...
