Howzit.
Just...um... signed up a few days ago and before now have been to shy-intimidated-busy-tired-unsure to do anything but look. You see, I've been a year-and-some graduated from a very prestigious animation school and am still strugglin' to find my Way (the usual time-money-location-connections tragicomedy)
so I thought I'd try putting a couple of things up.
Because I could really, really use any sort of feedback/commentary as to what could be done with/to it.

...
...Huh?
You appear to have me at an advantage. I think.

Here are a couple of more things. One's a study for a character from Paul MacAuley's 'Confluence' series.
The other one's just an ostrich.

I can't really offer much in the realm of constructive criticism... but those are beautiful... especially the first two.

Thanks. Really, thanks.
I've seen your animations. Good, trippy stuff. Some of them (esp the LSD and Suit series) remind me of the work that's on presstube.com's 'site.
Only, you know, with actual plots :D

Here are four more...

...One's a sphinx, one's a bee and, for the Holiday, two bunnies, because bunnies are cute.

From a distance.

You would be a good illustrator.

Thanks, Greenlik.
It has been an idea/probability I've been pursuing. Rabidly.
But (there's always a "but" in these things) what I really wanna do is somehow incorporate the fine-artsy-collage-stuff into animation, something along the lines of "Twice Upon a Time." Still hasn't been anything like it since (and, no, I don't think South Park counts. ;) ) Only from what I've seen, nobody's really hiring for stuff like that, :( leaving ol' A-66 to do it... indie-style.
Well, enough of the bitter old fogey bit...
...Here's three more.

Thank. Really, thanks.

I suppose the point of these posts is to demonstrate abilities and, of course, interests. My interests seem to be more...fine arts oriented (like William Kentridge, I guess). A "testing to the limitations of the equipment" sort of thing. I'll stop; this is getting a mite too deep.

Here's some more stuff....

...and that was the color of our program.

Here's some line work...

...You know that stuff I wrote about doing stuff along the lines of "Twice Upon a Time?" Well, a while ago I...uh, actually went and did it. For my demo reel. And here some of the stills...

You've got a very unique style. I've really enjoyed checking your work out. Can't wait to see what you post in the future. Nice job!

Thanks, jchap!
I've turned lime-grenn with envy at your stuff; so that's really heady praise... :D

Here're 5 more (one of 'em's not like the other...)

You have a really Zen sensibility...and I honestly mean that. You tend to simplify things where they need the simplicity. Nice work.

(Ridiculously) belated thank-you's all around for those of you out there in animator-land who posted, or had the morbid curiousity to go waaa-ay back to the distant past to view this stuff. I'd say I was going through a Great Emotional/Spritual/Personal Crisis, and was unable to make with the drawing and the sketching....

Truth is, I'm just lazy. :o

I do stuff, but have no real compulsion about slappin' it up right away.

Anymore.

ann-yway, here are a few things.

In time, God willin' and the creek don't rise, there'll be more.

Probably.

You have been warned.
