Where'd you hear that, Smock? Last I heard it was Summer '06, to get the double hit of summer box office and holiday DVD sales.

I checked Pixar's website, and it still says that Cars is going to be released June 9, 2006. I think it was originally going to be released this fall, just like you say, but they had to push it back a few months because of story problems or something.
