hmmm...i can see on your scetch that it is made using many short lines .... mybe you need more certenity. When you make ink contures it has the same diunfy look. I think you only need some time to get better results(and mayby also more construction-working with 3d objects not just lines). Its my opinion, hope you`ll see better results soon ...

Thanks for your opinion Simonx, I just wanted to mention that these are unfinished work (outlines), I have yet to add color and depth.
