Would be nice if there was a "« Previous Thread (http://forums.awn.com/showthread.php?t=22&goto=nextoldest) | Next Thread (http://forums.awn.com/showthread.php?t=22&goto=nextnewest) »" on the top of the page.

And what would be really great is a "Next Thread (http://forums.awn.com/showthread.php?t=22&goto=nextnewest) »" that knew when there really wasn't a "next thread."

Did I mention the names and icons take up half the page and look clunky?

Just trying to make a better AWN forum for tomorrow today.

I don't know if this is possible, but is there anyway to shrink down the size of the name bar? they do take up a lot of room between posts. Even though everyone seems to be getting used to this new look, that point still bothers me. Great work getting everything back up though. I don't mean to complain I just thought I might make a suggestion. (That and I was tired of reading
"In Gabe's defense" "by phacker" on the main forum area :) No offense to Phacks)

I'd just like to say thanks for replying to this thread Hett. I was tired of seeing my in defense of Gabe thread listed. He's a foolish kid I hope is on the right track right now, but boy he was a handful.

I think it was better when the avatar and personal info appeared on a column on the left of the post, it saved a lot of vertical space.

Hey, don't call Gabe foolish. He made a few mistakes, is all (unless I'm missing something [?]).

I really liked the darker design of the old forums.

And people are complaining to me that my text size is too big but I have no control over it, so if someone wants to suggest how I can fix that....
(I use various computers and I guess some give huge text and others give small text.)

AND some forums have a spellchecker in the message-construction area. That might be nice.

Never called Gabe foolish, actually he's got a lot of traffic out of all this, but he managed to spam a couple of times, and it wasn't ignorance that made it happend.

Maybe I did call him a foolish kid, but that's after he had been warned a couple of times.

As for the text issue Harvey try resetting your font.

I just tried resetting my font to Arial and my font size to 1. Does this work? The font size keeps jumping back to 3 whenever I preview, so I don't know. I hate to think that I'll have to adjust my font settings every time I make a post.

Personally, I don't care, but others whine about it, so...whatever.

Are you doing this in your browser? Some browsers allow the ability to force a custom stylesheet to format all webpages viewed in that browser, but the CSS used in VBulletin may not allow that.

Please let me know the steps you are taking in order to change your font settings and what browser/version/platform you are running and I will do my best to help you.

Internet Explorer 6 on Windows 2K

Under "Internet Options > General > Accessibility," I have "ignore font sizes" checked.
"Ignore font styles" is UNchecked.
"User style sheet" is UNchecked.

SUGGESTION:
This is the Animation Forum. Why don't we have animated smilies like a lot of other forums have?

Hey, that would be funny. Let's try and create some.

Maybe we can have a contest where we create animated versions of each smiley.
Nobody should win more than once, though, to get a nice variety.
