SINGLE REEL FILM & VIDEO FESTIVAL - New York

Single Reel is dedicated to creating outlets for emerging independent filmmakers, animators, and artists to show their work.
Single Reel was established in order to foster opportunities for connecting independent filmmakers to each other and audiences. We are looking for short films which are original, thought-provoking and indicative of a commitment to the art of the truly independent cinema. Single Reel is more than a festival, it is a platform providing a framework forthe independent film community.
Single Reel #4 will take place in New York City in June. Venue and dates will be announced as we finalize them. Your submission will be considered for all screenings. Single Reel doesn't file films away, we always consider each entry for all screenings.
Entries must be 60 minutes in length or less, in DVD, DV, DVCAM, HDV and Quicktime formats. Experimental work is particularly encouraged. Please visit http://www.singlereel.org for more details.
