Hi ,
I am Arvind Srinivasan.V working a software tester in a reputed software company in chennai, India. I am interested in art , drawing , painting , innovative thinking and creating things. I also liked doing graphics programming using cpp , where i created some greetings using just lines , circles , squares etc. The work that I do now does not require thinking and just require monotonous execution of same things again and again. Hence I am thinking of switching my career towards animation and graphics.

I went to arena animation and asked about the course that they offer. They suggested a 5 semister part time course (1.5 hours every day) where they will teach everything and at the end of 5 semisters the person who learns will be given placement for sure in the area that he wishes to move. For which they charge 1.24 lakhs (course duration being 12 - 15 months max).

Since i dont know any one in this field I would like to know whether it is worth doing the course or else what should i do to move in the field of animation and graphics? Could you please suggest me what my future activities must me as I am novice in this area. Thanks
