Question lighting setup for pencil test?

Where can I get a simple lighting setup for pencil testing? My luxo lamps just don't cut it. I'm thinking of something easily adjustable and mountable to a tabletop...with clamps, rods and low-profile bulb casings. And which is better: flourescent or incandescent (i.e. which provides the most stable, whitest lighting)?

This is a pretty typical setup for a pencil test copy stand, although two lights should do just fine. If your luxo lamps aren't cutting it, put in a higher wattage bulb or bring them closer to the stand base. One lamp on either side should be sufficient.

Also, make sure your pencil lines are dark enough so they don't wash out under the light and adjust your exposure settings to get the best contrast possible.
