Question Can anyone help a Aussie multimedia student?

Hi
I've been concentrating so hard on getting an animation project working that I've neglected my business studies. I have to write a business plan for a new multimedia business and I''m a little stuck on some market research.
I'd be very grateful for any assistance.

Q1 What is the location of your business?
Q2 Is the location important to your business? How?
Q3 What percentage of your business is done over the internet and what percentage is face to face?
Q4 What is your main service/product?
Q5 Do you outsource any components of your work and if so, what?
Q6 How many employees do you have?
Q7 Where does your competition come from/who are they?

If anyone has any recent and relevant data suitable for illustration, multimedia, photography or animation I would very much appreciate it.

Links would be good. A real working business plan (with your name/details deleted to protect your privacy of course) would be excellent.
Thanks for your time

I should have mentioned that I am a multimedia student and that this would benefit me a great deal with the business study component of my course.

I have not approached animation/illustration agencies, freelancers, directly because I am a bit shy when it comes to this and really I don't know who I would ask.

I thought this forum would be going straight to the best source for the market research that I require. If you can help in any way by answering the questions above or by sending a business plan of this type old or new to my email address this would enable me to wrap up this portion of my course. I could then put all of my time into my major research project. Thanks again to anyone that is thinking of helping.

Sorry I took so long to answer, I didn't see this thread before.

Q1 What is the location of your business?

Belo Horizonte, Brazil.

Q2 Is the location important to your business? How?

Very much. We are in a city that is reasonably big inside the country, and yet it doesn't have many multmedia companies, so we don't have much competition. Our task right now is to avoid multimedia jobs to go away to other cities and keep them here.

Q3 What percentage of your business is done over the internet and what percentage is face to face?

We use internet all the time, specially to exchange files with clients and co-workers. But face to face is very important too, specially when we are to present a project. It's important to look people in the eye when you're trying to convince them to give you money

Q4 What is your main service/product?

Right now our main costumer is the local zoo, we did a multimedia presentation for them and now they want lots more of it. We also developed the products they're selling at their store. Now we're beginning to make an educational 3d animation for a local university, they want to show it before every graduation cerimony.

Q5 Do you outsource any components of your work and if so, what?

Our multimedia presentation at the zoo was created in Director by a friend of ours who works as a free lancer. The rest of the work was all done here. We could try to do the Director work too, but he's our friend and he got us the job, so we had to keep him on the project.

Q6 How many employees do you have?

We're 4 associates and we have 1 trainee.

Q7 Where does your competition come from/who are they?

Inside the city there is not much competition, specially in the animation field. The big competition is from larger cities like Rio and São Paulo. What we're trying to do now is to convince local companies to keep their animation work (specially advertising) inside the city, with us. There are some other 2 studios in town, but we seldom hear from them.
