not much to look at. it is the same picture over and over just with more or less words.

I dont think cartoon is the right word for this...more of a commentary.

Thanks Phacker, we really don't know what to call it. We just wanted to make fun of everything using a cartoon format. Not that we are artists, but we like subtle changes in character. My wife made up 100 face changes (expressions) to give it a little variety.

Hey Doug, don't mind Blinkme. A lot of the folks here are trying to make their mark, and instead of finding the good in things, they are looking to make their mark by underrating others. You'r trying to break into political cartooning, and this may be your first go at it. As you add more content I am sure you are going to stretch and add more spice as time goes on. I really enjoyed the written commentary anyway. So nice site and I'll visit again. I thought the graphics were great, and the site loaded in a reasonable amount of time for one on dialup, these for me are important factors in a website.

Thanks, my SEO side always tries to put the viewer first with page load times. No one will wait very long for a page to load even if it’s there favorite site…lol

And your right, I will get a little bolder as we get positive feedback from friends like you.

Cheers

hey now. i never said it was bad or anything. It is not like I am telling them they should stop doing it cus they suck. I do not think that at all.

Just giving my opinion.

Feedback of liking or not liking are equally valuable as long as a reason is expressed. I stated what i thought about it and why, without calling demeaning their efforts. I think its great they are doing something.

I tend to agree with Blink. I'm not big on political cartoons, but I would like to see the images be alittle more relevant to the text. At this point the characters might as well be a circle and a square.

Mahalo,

Yeah, they aren't animated, and there's isn't a lot of variation, but I still like it. They aren't trying to break into the animation world, they are putting up a commentary. Maybe you don't agree, personally I do with a lot that they have to say. His wife and he are trying to get their message out. They are doing that. I applaud the effort.

I do believe Doug asked for suggestions, and I suggested that he have more drawings. They don't have to be animated. Just that he could have different drawings from one cartoon to the next. They are different topics so I think that they should warrent different artwork.

Aloha,
the Ape
