Are you a Canadian Flash animator looking for that lucky break to get your stuff on TV?

Here’s your chance!

Maple Shorts is a televised animated Flash film festival where original Canadian animators vie for the chance of a lifetime: a full-length pilot for CBC Television. We’re looking for the best and brightest animators, amateur and professional alike, from across the country to enter. It’s a unique opportunity to reach a national television audience and get voted on by viewers.

So be creative! Send us your short Flash animation, no more than 6 minutes in length, between July 1 and September 19, 2004. The subject and illustrative style is limited only by your imagination, as long as it’s original and in English. And keep it family-friendly too; the festival is targeted at 8 to12-year-olds.
